From IQ to WeQ
How do you create a leadership team that not only holds meetings – but also takes shared responsibility for the organisation’s direction, culture, and results?
In "From IQ to WeQ", Janus Kleemann and Nanna Seidelin focus on the six challenges every leadership team encounters: Direction, Trust, Collaboration, Prioritisation, Wholeness, and Reflection. Drawing on more than 40 years of experience and interviews with over 100 leaders, they demonstrate how leadership teams can transform these challenges into strengths.
The book provides you with:
- Practical tools, questions, and exercises that strengthen your team in practice
- Insights into how the leadership team’s collective intelligence (WeQ) becomes the organisation’s greatest strategic advantage
- Inspiration for creating sustainable execution where both people and business thrive
From IQ to WeQ is an indispensable handbook for anyone who wants to develop their leadership team to be more than the sum of its parts – and to create results that endure over the long term. (only in danish at the moment)

The 6 challenges

Direction
When the leadership team lacks a shared course, vision, and clear goals, the strategy becomes blurred and the effort is spread across too many initiatives.

Trust
When doubt, uncertainty, and hidden agendas hinder openness and courage. Conflicts are swept under the carpet.

Collaboration
When silos, egos, and self-interests obstruct joint solutions. Each leader fights for their own department rather than the whole.

Prioritisation
When everything seems important at once, nothing gets done. The leadership team drowns in tasks. Strategic choices are postponed.

Wholeness
When the focus is locked within departments rather than on the organisation’s overall success and direction. Holistic thinking disappears, and synergies are lost.

Reflection
When busyness and operations leave no room for shared learning, reflection, and development. There is never time to evaluate and adjust. The leadership team repeats the same mistakes again and again.
Testimonials
“From IQ to WEQ is an excellent and highly relevant book for both individual leaders and leadership teams who want to strengthen their collaboration, set a clear direction, and create the supporting structures and culture that drive organisational success.”
Christian Madsen, Senior Organizational
Development Partner
“From IQ to WEQ succeeds to a great extent in highlighting the value of leadership teams, as well as how each individual leader is crucial to how the team functions and achieves results. This book will keep your mind buzzing from start to finish.”
Thomas Pedersen, CSO
“From IQ to WEQ is the most inspiring and straightforward leadership book I have read in many years. It shows very clearly that, as a leadership team, we hold each other in our hands; that none of us can succeed alone; and that when something is not working, there is usually a real reason worth uncovering.”

HSE and Training
